94+

Today I bought a new cd. Okay. I bought two. And I was quite excited about having the new Silverstein album, which I had already heard, but I also decided to buy the most recent Louis XIV album as I really enjoyed their first album and their sound in general. They're so dirty too... fun band.

Anyway, when I was in grade school, I used to buy quite a few cds quite often. Now that I'm an epic pirate and can get my slippery fingers on anything I've stopped buying albums for the most part, but I suppose I've started again today and I quite like having the album art and stuff.

Now I need a new album holder!

Well, would you look at that?

Wrong Place, Wrong Time

I've known forever that I was born in the wrong decade; but now I'm starting to get pissy about it. I missed everything! John Lennon wasn't even alive when I was born. It sucks. I needed to have been born a little bit after the founding of Rome (in Italy) and then been made immortal so that I could experience like... Everything as a 23 year old. That is what needs to happen. Haha. Turn back the world and make it so. I want to know everything there is to know.

Please?

To The Question On Your Mind

I don't have much to say, so I guess I'll blog about St. Patrick's day. It was positively ridiculous. I slept through half the day, but when I woke up, my roommates were all ridiculously drunk. So I ate cereal and poptarts and then hid in my room as I often do.

I later came out and socialized a little bit which was funny. It was like... second hand drunkenness. Although I detest being drunk, being around drunks is pretty fun sometimes. I go totally ADHD, but they don't notice because they're hammered.

This totally reaffirms my reasons for not drinking though. Apart from the fact that I just don't like it in general, I also don't like being super annoying, absolutely stupid out of my head, and ridiculously loud for no reason.

But drunk people are still funny.

The Dreammaker's Gonna Make You Mad

This morning, I was ub bright and early. I got a yummy iced tea from the bucks then headed over to Kensington and UrbHerb. The curry wasn't ready when I got there, so I got a BBQ tofu sandwich instead as well as juice, 2 cookies, and a muffin.

The jucie was nastily healthy. I felt every piece of junkfood I've ever had melt away as I was drinking it. It was kind of awful. Decidedly enjoyable though. The sandwich was orgasmic and I got sauce from it all over my muddy banks ofthe wishkah Nirvana tshirt. Oh well, it was already dirty.
Some creeper hit on me, so I told him I was a boy. Ahahahhaa. This is especially hilarious because of my long hair (today), girly clothes, and exploding clevage. It was an epic win for all parties involved. I couldn't think of anything else to say though.

I ate my breaky then took a 5 hour long nap then went and got pizza. I think I might have been flirting with the girl at the pizza counter, I have no idea. But it was a funny thought as I was walking out of there.

When I got home, Shayna and I watched the amazing race together as we do on Sunday nights. It was pretty good. Now I'm hungry again, so I think I'll eat my muffin that I was saving for breakfast tomorrow.

Verona Lives Inside Of You

This morning I woke up annoyingly early and took a few naps before finally getting up and getting somewhat ready for the show tonight. I took my time because I knew David wouldn't be at my place for a while.

When he did arrive, we got sparkly; me on purpose, him by accident. I finished getting ready and then we took the subway to queen and then the streetcar to the pizza parlour for some yummy pizza before heading out to the venue. We were a little late so there was no line to get in. They confiscated David's whiskey at the door... Hahahaha, and it took forever for them to take my ticket, but I said hey to Shanye in the meantime.

Anyway, we got in and were seperately rocking out to our mp3 players... And then my battery died and I was sad. I didn't dig the openers so much. We went and talked to Shane and Nicole for a bit and I got one of those badass $40 purple hoodies that I've wanted forrrrever (since I'm obsessed with brass knuckles) and then for $20 because Shane is fucking AWESOME!!!!! I luff it!!! Its all fuzzy and American Apparely.

I talked to Nicole forever about Detroity things and such. She's sooo awesome. Haha, she thought I was 20-something, I was like yeah, I'm 18, but I get that a lot. We talked like all through the opening bands, and I met Kevin's girl Carly who is nice; didn't talk to her much though. I like how everyone always thinks I'm like... 23, I don't even know why. But its helpful when trying to get into clubs.

Silverstein was aweesome, especially since there was noone there so I got pushed up to the barrier straight away and noone crowdsurfed over my head. They played a few new songs, (the first three off their new album), and a ton that I'd never seen live, but had always wanted to. Smile in Your Sleep, Call it Karma, Discovering the Waterfront, um... I can't think of the rest off the top of my head, but it was a great set!

Afterward, I went and got to meet PK's girl Courtney who is here visiting him from Texas. They are totally adorable and she's really nice. I also met Josh's girl who is really fun. I can see why those two are together, haha. They were telling me about their cute dog who threw up today. Yummers? Haha.

Josh said I should come to their show in Burlington, and then I told him I was only 18, so he asked PK if I would be allowed anyway if I paid, and he said no, but they both said I should use a fake ID. Hahahahahaha, they're sooo awesome. I conveiniently have 3 fake IDs. However, I don't want to go all the way to Burlington in case it doesn't work, as that would be a waste of $$$

My poor dear wayfarers got lost somewhere behind the stein merch table, but maybe they'll turn up? I hope so. I adore them! Anyway, some security dude got rid of me, so I thanked Shane for the hoodie and got a hug then David and I headed to the streetcar and then went to Macca's. I got frenchfries and a drink.

I love Silverstein!

Lay Down A List Of What Is Wrong

Grey's Anatomy tonight was... Exhausting to watch. There was so much drama, oh my goodness. Bailey's hair looked amazing, and Adelle was on it. I like her, she's so fun. Derek apparently killed someone by accident and is having a freak-out and turned into an asshole. Alex is now the shit. Izzie is dying (I cried). Christina is still fucking amazing, gah, she's way too cool for school fersher. She's such a badass. George is still adorrrrable and still, just there. I'm not at all sure what's going on with MerDer, last I saw, Derek was DRUNK and batted the wedding ring far away into the grass and Meredith was promising him that she was there for him, but he's an asshole right now, so I'm not sure what is going to happen. One thing is for sure though, I sooo can't wait for next week!!

Almost as much as I can't wait for tonight.

I Never Really Known Anybody To Die Before

I'm currently getting my jock off on the song "Sam's Town" from the album "Sam's Town" (hahaha) by The Killers. It's an absolutely ace song and I can really relate to it. + I fucking adore The Killers with a passion. A FIERY BURNING PASSION. And if you're lazy. Here you go, two whole versions of it!

This is why they're my favourite band. THEY'RE AMAZING!

I Got Mine

On Friday, I went grocery shopping and decided to stop in and see how much a septum piercing would cost. It was only the price of the jewelry. Which was epic cheap for a piercing, so I went ahead and scheduled myself an appointment to get it done at or after 3pm, then went and bought myself some food.

I watched Bones on my computer for a while and then headed down to the parlour around the corner. I had forgotten my ID though, so I went back and quickly got it. I filled out paperwork and then was lead far far away down some twisty hallways with the piercer and his cute asian assistant.

It took half an hour of talking before I let him line up where the piercing would be with the needle and receiving tube. As soon as that was lined up, I was like, just pierce it! So he did. My eyes watered a lot, but it didn't really hurt. It just felt like pressure.

Putting the ring in didn't work so well, so he put a taper through, and after a bit of fiddling, the ring was in and fit and closed. I checked it out in the mirror and it was a little crooked, which I pointed out. He agreed and decided to repierce it using the same beginning point, but a new ending point in order to twist it to fit my slightly devious septum.

It looks pretty great now, still just a little crooked, but it will straighten out as it heals and will look better when I get a curved barbell into it a little later. I totally adore it and I'm super glad I manned up and got it done since I've been wanting it for a while.

I can't wait to get my nostril pierced...

8 Mile(s)

Today was the most exhausting day I've had since I was in marching band, or since that horrid time in Costa Rica when I went on a 6 hour hike through a leech infested swamp.

I woke up, got professional looking, then headed to Union Station via the subway. From there I bought a Go bus ticket out to Richmond Hill. I waited around there for a while, then got on the bus and headed out.
The Go station was about 4 miles from the place where I had an interview, unfortunately, I lacked the funds to take busses, so I walked the four miles. I got to the place at the exact time I was supposed to be there... even though I left epic early.
I had a mini interview, then they decided to interview me again after talking to other people. We had a little group interview demonstration thingy, and then I got interviewed again and was told that I was hired, which was exciting.

I have to go back for the next three days for training.

I walked back the 4 miles to the Go station in the dark, only to find out that Go transit doesn't go back to Toronto at night. So a nice bus man drove me to Yonge, and gave me a transfer to get to a bus that would take me to Finch station. Only, he didn't drop me off at the right place, so I had to walk a while to the actual bus stop.

The bus came and it took forever to get to Finch, and then the subway ride took forever as well and was COLD!!! It pretty much sucked and now I feel like death and I so don't want to go anywhere tomorrow, but oh well.

Oh. I sell knives. Woo.

Ah, also, I heard a clip of Silverstein's new single. I don't like it.

My Hair Looks Like Cotton Candy, My Heart Is Made Of Sequins

Today was a pretty lazy sunday. We had a new roommie move in. She's pretty cool and super nice, her name is Shayna and she lives in Melissa's old... closet, for lack of a better word. I put more pink in my hair and now it looks more like I wanted it to originally.

I've got a new TV obsession snce Andrea showed Shayna and I how to work the TV. Its one of those race type reality shows and its SO hilarious. I was like, dying the whole time we were watching it. It was amaaaazing. I can't wait to watch it again next week.

Totally pissed an a half about the Silverstein show in Burlington being 19+ grrrrr... Who the fuck plays 19+ shows, like really??!!? Screwwy.

A bunch of the girls and I sat around laughing earlier, but now its fast approaching bed time, so its mostly quiet.

Also, this is the first update from my new phone since the internet is down as usual.
