Did You Know?

Thank you Ashton.

Twiggy

Yesterday while I was out and about I ran into the most fabulous person ever. He was FABULOUS. He's 16, he looks like he's 20 something, he lives in the distillery district, and his name is Twiggy. He has a bunch of piercings, and when I met him, he was wearing a furry pink coat and platform maryjanes with star cutouts in the platforms. SO. Amazing!!! He's my new favourite person.

Him and Carlotta Valdez.

Oscar Special: 2009

My appologies for the lack of updates as of late. Not much of interest has happened lately. Oh, my hair changed colours again as per usual. Its blonde and cotton candy pink.

Best Picture: Slumdog Millionaire
My thoughts: I think that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button should have won. It was an amazing movie, and yeah, okay, maybe the only one I saw, but still.

Best Actress: Kate Winslet
My thoughts: Way to go Kate! Not only is she a positive rollmodel for girls everywhere and stunningly gorgeous; Kate is amazing in nearly everything she does. I have never seen a movie where I disliked her acting.

Best Supporting Actor: Heath Ledger
My thoughts: He totally deserved it. A moment of silence fo him please.

Best Makeup: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
My thoughts: This was the clear winner. The prosthetics were flawlessly done and Pitt de-aged seamlessly. Very impressive and definitely Oscar worthy.

Apparently I sleep with the european masses. The London schoolchildren, and the Moscow partiers.

High School's Over

Yesterday, I spent the whole day job hunting. Fun times... I tested out the theory that American Apparel's clothes makes normal sized girls look like fat hookers. Decidedly true. I went to Urban Outfitters though, and I fell in love with this amazing dress that is far too expensive... so I just took pictures. =]

I have a photo shoot with my friend Kipling later today which should be funsies.

I'm Sure This Shouldn't Be This Funny

I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be this funny, but I can't stop laughing about it. I'm currently watching a pirated bootleg copy of Happy Feet that my shitty ex boyfriend and his currently incarcerated cousin (they're probably both in jail right now, actually) probably stole out of a car they broke into with Brad's bestfriend Juggalo Jay, who in turn, gave the stolen case of CDs and DVDs to me.

I think it's hilarious. Also, as a note on Brad and Erich's incarceration, I'm pretty sure a list of their charges includes grand theft auto and arson.

Now I'm wondering why I've never watched this movie before. It's kind of hilarious.

I Was Dancing When I Was Three

So, the other day, a mouse visited me in my room. Surprised me rather much. It was kinda cute though. It was little and brown. Didn't stay long. I haven't mentioned it to my roommates yet.

Saturday, David came and we basically did a restaurant crawl. We started with cookies and chocolate bars, then went down the street for Japanese food. Then up and over to Bloor and Spadina for pizza at Cora's. That was funny... apparently some drunk guy tried to fight a cop and 4 other cop cars showed up and they held him down and stuff. We were watching out the front of the window. It was really funny. After that, we went to get nachos at Sneaky Dee's, but the bouncer didn't accept my Michigan ID (which doesn't look fake at all). So we went across the street to the Bistro and got a mini pitcher of screwdriver and then two shots each. They tasted yummy! We then went down to a boss pizza parlour/general restaurant at Queen and Parliament and got yummy vegan soup.

We came back to my house and watched Enchanted, and then David went home. Best Valentine's Day EVER. Haha, mostly because although we are single people, we're not the creepy bitter ones who complain about cutesy couples who probably hate each other anyway.

Yesterday, I watched fairy tale movies ALL. DAY. LONG. And this morning, I watched lots of Grey's, season five, say whaa?

I Saw You Dancing And I Couldn't Get You Off My Mind

Today I stumbled across a topless picture of myself that was taken at some point last year when I had bright orange hair and nipple rings. I think it's a little wrong to be this attracted to one's self. Oh well.

I'm bangin'.

Show The Camera You're A Superstar

So, my computer is back up and running. And as such, I've ended my 3-day Rammstein binge and have branched out to Cash Cash. I had forgotten how epic these guys are. Go to my friend Rob's blog and download their album. My favourite songs are "Party In Your Bedroom", "Sugar Rush", "Cash Cash", "Electric Hearts", "Radio", "Breakout", and "Dynamite". So, basically, the whole album is rockin'. It's fun and upbeat. You can sample a track on my other blog by clicking here.

Du Hast Mich

So Friday I hung out and partied with the roomies since it was Sam's birthday. I mostly hung out with cute Brian who was stranded from Waterloo. We hung out and talked a bit and then went to Fran's. He bought me french fries. They were the goods.

Brian stayed the night on the sex futon in the basement. In the morning, we went to UrbHerb and got breakfast. He got coffee and a muffin, I got some epic curry and their amazing vegan hot chocolate.

After that, he wandered around Kensington Market and then probably down to Queen West to sell these boss buttons he makes out of comic books. He gave me a joker one. I headed off to my job interview at the burrito place. I think it went quite well, but I'll also have to go looking other places. I need my computer to turn on again so that I can weasel my resume out of it and print a bunch off.

I hung out with David after my interview. We went to Sneaky's for dinner. I loooove that place. The super cute guy from the other night was our server! He was wearing an s4c shirt. It was cute. We came home and watched movies and then decided to watch really hilariously bad porn, which is always fun.

FrankenMac will be back soonish I'm sure.

Ohne Dich...

Yes please.

That is Till, but apparently some people call him Herr Lindemann. Smexy.
He's from Germany. He IS a bass. He's farrr too old for me; 46. But I freakin' WANT him. He's sooo pretty. Aaaaannnnndddd. He's shy, so he doesn't like giving interviews and hates being stared at. How adorable of him.

So yesterday I was saved from boredom by three girls who decided to get tattooed. They all had quotes about love, and they kept saying "proper" as an adjective that I took to mean "cool". All in all, I felt they were rather, "common". I'm pretty sure they were like... 17 at most. AAANNNYYYway. I was saved from having to deal with that because David walked in.

He and I went to Urban Herbivore and got "special" mushroom soup for his friend who was sick. We also got breadsticks, a muffin, and vegan hot chocolate for ourselves. We went to his friend's house. I showed them a REALLY funny picture. Which isn't half as funny if I don't tell you the comment dearest Libby made first. So I made an LOLCATZ out of it. You can view this by clicking here.

Anyway. After that, we went to swing dancing class, which was pretty fun. I learnt how to swingdance. Yay me! I suckish.

Today, I didn't feel well, so I stayed in bed ALL day. I finally went out to Strange Love. Epic fail-ish. I got in the door, down to the coat-room, and then this bouncer followed me and was like, uh... can I see your ID again? Like, I swear to dick these dudes think I'm like... 15 and will NOT let it slide. It's so dumb. So I went to Sneaky Dee's instead and got a cosmopolitan and a bunch of nachos.

Look! It's Lilu!

I Stopped Worrying And Learnt To Love The Bomb

Today was my first official day at work. I learnt to make fake IDs. I now have 3 of my own... which is 2 more than I had yesterday. So yeah, expect to hear about some epic tales of clubbing in the near future. I've gotten the 35mm's out and am considering doing a shoot around the city tomorrow before work. Or possibly at work. Or maybe not. I don't know yet. I should take a picture of my bass. It's epically beautiful and has not yet graced the pages of my blog.

The quote of the day is, "You have stretchmarks... did you have a baby?" I was understandably offended... especially since someone caught the tail end of it and asked if I actually am currently pregnant. My reply? "Uh... no. I'm just fat. But thank you for asking." It was mortifying. I've never been asked that in my life.

Dr. Strangelove Or, How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb

Enjoy that.
